FAMILY OPERATIONS FOR HOMESCHOOL LIFE

Run your homeschool. Keep the family in sync.

hayway hearth is one private home base for lessons, attendance, learning evidence, meals, and the family calendar. It is in early access now. Try it free for 14 days; after that it is $7.99 a month or $79 a year for the whole household.

One home base. No year-end record panic.

THE PROBLEM

The record of your year is scattered across a dozen places

The cost is not only lost time. It is the uncertainty when you need to show what was taught, when it happened, and where the supporting record lives.

A paper planner

holds this week's lessons until the week changes shape.

A spreadsheet

tracks attendance until a month goes missing.

Photo folders

hold the learning evidence nobody can find in May.

A shoebox

keeps the receipts that never become a budget.

Group chats

carry the schedule everyone remembers differently.

LIVE IN EARLY ACCESS

One loop from today's lesson to the year record

This loop is live now, printable year record included: each step feeds the next, so the year record builds from work you already did and prints from any learner's Records page.

  1. 01

    Plan a lesson

Choose the learner, the subject, and the day.

  2. 02

    Mark it complete

Unfinished work reschedules instead of disappearing.

  3. 03

    Record attendance

One confirmed status per learner per day, with no duplicates.

  4. 04

    Attach evidence

Photos, PDFs, notes, and links stay with the lesson and the learner.

  5. 05

    Generate the year record

Attendance, subjects, work, and evidence in one labeled export.

Today stays manageable

Lessons, meals, appointments, and family tasks sit in one clear view.

Records build themselves

Attendance, work samples, progress, and expenses stay attached to each child.

Everyone knows the plan

Parents, students, tutors, and caregivers get the right access without oversharing.

MODULES

Everything the family needs, organized around each child

The records loop and the household basics are live in early access today, education expenses now among them. Optional family-entered marks, family-maintained report cards and transcripts, and exact credit totals are live too. hearth does not calculate GPA. Instructor sharing tools stay planned while the live records tools prove themselves with real families.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN

A home base, not a social network

hearth is built to these requirements from the first line of code. They are commitments, not settings you have to find.

  • Parent-controlled household access with clear roles
  • No public feed
  • No advertising
  • Household data stays separate from childcare-center data

CONNECTED TO HAYWAY, WHEN YOU CHOOSE

If your co-op, microschool, tutor, or program runs on hayway, hearth is designed to receive schedules, announcements, registrations, fees, and selected records from them while household data stays in the household.

The connection is optional and explicit, and it arrives after the core records loop ships. hearth works fully without it.

QUESTIONS

What hearth is, plainly

What is hayway hearth?

hearth is a private home base for the work behind home education: planning lessons, tracking attendance, saving learning evidence, and building a usable year record. It is built by hayway.

Is hearth available today?

hearth is in early access. Founding families can use lesson planning, attendance and hours, photos, PDFs, notes, and links as learning evidence, education expenses and receipts, flexible meal plans, groceries, and the family calendar. Creating an account is free, and every new household starts with a 14-day free trial.

Will hearth file records with my state?

No. hearth prepares family-maintained records that you review. You stay responsible for knowing and meeting your state's requirements, and hearth exports will always be labeled as family-maintained records.

Is hearth part of a childcare center's hayway account?

No. hearth is a separate product for households with its own private data. An optional connection to co-ops, microschools, and programs that run on hayway is planned, and it will always be explicit and reversible.

How much does hearth cost?

$7.99 a month or $79 a year, after a free 14-day trial. One price covers the whole household with unlimited learners, and you can cancel anytime. Creating an account is free.
