It stays optional, explicit, and reversible, and household data stays separate. Schedules, announcements, and registrations through the connection are still planned.

Does hearth generate transcripts and report cards?
Yes. hearth builds printable report cards and transcripts from optional marks, courses, grades, and credits entered by your household. It adds the exact credit values you enter but does not calculate GPA. Each export is labeled family-maintained and must be reviewed before sharing. hearth does not verify, certify, accredit, or file these records. Recipient requirements vary, so confirm them directly before submitting a record.
Can a co-op or program see our records?
Nothing unless you connect to them, and then only what you choose. Connecting to a program that runs on hayway is live: you choose which learners they know about and what they may send you, and either side can stop it. A connected program never sees your records unless you share a year record with them, read-only and ended any time. They can send you days attended, fees, and activity updates; each arrives as a suggestion and joins your records only when you add it or turn on automatic adding for that category.
