Bridge families and learning communities

Not connected

The planned hayway connection receives schedules, announcements, registrations, fees, and selected records from co-ops, microschools, tutors, and programs using hayway, while household data stays separate. Optional, explicit, and reversible, and it remains planned while the live records tools prove themselves with families.

Questions about the features

Which of these features exist today?

The sections marked live: lesson planning, attendance and hours, the printable year record, optional family-entered marks, family-maintained report cards and transcripts, exact credit totals, photos, PDFs, notes, and links with per-learner filing, education expenses and receipts, the shared calendar, flexible meal plans, and groceries. Instructor sharing is still plainly marked planned. Creating an account is free, and every new household starts with a 14-day free trial; after that hearth is $7.99 a month or $79 a year.

Does hearth generate transcripts and report cards?

Yes. hearth builds printable report cards and transcripts from optional marks, courses, grades, and credits entered by your household. It adds the exact credit values you enter but does not calculate GPA. Each export is labeled family-maintained and must be reviewed before sharing. hearth does not verify, certify, accredit, or file these records. Recipient requirements vary, so confirm them directly before submitting a record.

Can a co-op or program see our records?

Only what you choose to share. The planned hayway connection receives schedules, announcements, registrations, fees, and selected records from programs that run on hayway, while household data stays in the household. It is optional and reversible.
