hayway has always been about the operational side of care and learning: attendance that reconciles, billing that matches reality, records that hold up when someone asks. hearth brings that same discipline home. It is a private home base for homeschool families, and it is live today: every household starts with a free 14-day trial, then one price covers the whole household.

What hearth is

hearth gives a homeschool household one place to plan lessons, track attendance and expenses, organize meals and schedules, save learning evidence, and build a clean year record. No public feed, no advertising, and household data stays separate from childcare-center data.

  • The records loop is live: plan a lesson, mark it complete, record attendance, attach evidence, print the year record. So are expenses and receipts, meals and groceries, the family calendar, household roles, and family-maintained report cards and transcripts.
  • Every export is labeled as a family-maintained record that you review. hearth will not claim state approval or file anything for you.
  • The optional connection to co-ops, microschools, and programs that run on hayway is live too: days attended, fees, and activity updates arrive as suggestions that join your records only when you add them, unless you choose automatic adding for a category. A family can also share a read-only year record with a trusted instructor and end it at any time.

The free resource library

The resource library stays free for everyone: printable attendance logs, a portfolio checklist, a reading log, a transcript template, primary-source state law pages, and practical guides to homeschool recordkeeping.
